On holiday in Milford on Sea we raided the reduced shelves of the tiny Co-op at the end of a blustery day on the beach for the food for the next few days. We have come back to the holiday home armed with Frubes, BOGOF spaghetti, cheddar, chorizo, passata, baking potatoes & baked beans.
Tonight's dish is spaghetti with a spicy chorizo tomato sauce. Dad made it by frying a small onion in olive oil along with half the chorizo ring finely chopped, and then simmered in passata whilst the pasta cooked. The kids wolfed it down after a day throwing stones on the beach, although twizzling pasta seemed to wear them out just before the end of the meal.
