A diagnosis of high pressure has made me determined to eat more fruit and veg, and smoothies seem one way to do this.
Serves 1
Half a banana
3 tbsp porridge oats
1 tbsp mixed nuts
1 tsp chia seeds (optional)
200ml orange juice
1/2 tsp turmeric (optional)
1/4 tsp ground cardamon (optional)
Plonk everything in a Nutribullet or similar and blitz until smooth.
