French Carrot Salad - Carrottes Râpées

We've just been away for half term in Northern France.  For a foodie, our meals were rather unimaginative.  We ate out twice (a group of nine of us), eating Moules Mariniere everytime, had cheese and pate picnics on the beach the other days, and bought merguez and cooked them for the five kids who loved them.  The only vaguely French food I made was French Dressing and a Carrottes Râpées - grated carrot salad.  I used a handful of bendy carrots we had taken on holiday and forgotten about for nearly a week!

Serves 4
4 large carrots, cleaned and grated
3-4 tbsp French Dressing
Pepper & salt to season

Mix all the ingredients together and season to taste.
