After a first fast day on the 5:2 diet yesterday I was so looking forward to breakfast, even before I had finished the last spoonful of my Tarka Dhal last night.
Mashed banana on toast may not sound that exciting, but it seemed quite decadent after yesterdays 563 calorie intake.
It is quite literally what is as it sounds. Take one slice of toast, ideally wholemeal, and mash one banana onto it. DO NOT BUTTER THE TOAST FIRST! I don't know what it is about warmed banana but it so much more sweet and comforting that in it's 'raw. state. Oh and only 150 calories.
